CONGRATULATIONS Berkeley Soccer Teams!

Congratulations to the Berkeley Storm, a U16, Division II Girls team.  The Storm finished the regular season in MOSA National 1 with a record of 9 wins, no losses and one tie.  That earned them first place in their flight.  Congratulations to Coach Vinny Guardino and his team.

Congratulations to the Berkeley Fusion, a U13, Division III Girls team.  The Fusion finished the regular season in MOSA National 1 with a record of 9 wins, 1 loss and no ties.  That earned them first place in their flight.  Congratulations to Coach Doug Jensen and his team.

Congratulations to the Berkeley Bulldogs, a U13, Division III Boys team.  The Bulldogs finished the regular season in MOSA National 6 with a record of 8 wins, 2 losses.  That earned them first place in their flight.  Congratulations to Coach Ben Valentino and his team.

Congratulations to the Berkeley Lightning, a U11, Division IV Boys team.  The Lightning finished the regular season in MOSA National 5 with a record of 8 wins, no losses and 2 ties.  That earned them first place in their flight.  Congratulations to Coach Rob Berardi and his team.

Congratulations to the Berkeley Outlaws, a U9, Division V Boys team.  The Outlaws finished the regular season in MOSA Premier 1 with a record of 9 wins, 1 loss and no ties.  That earned them first place in their flight.  Congratulations to Coach Scott Cranston and his team.

Several other Berkeley teams also had a nice season in MOSA.  The Bandits (U19 Girls) finished in second place in their flight.  The Wizzards (U14 Boys) and  the Crushers (U10 Boys) finished in third place.  The Galaxy (U13 Girls) finished in fourth place in their flight.

In the Jersey Coast League, the Berkeley Cheetahs (U11 Girls) finished in third place in their flight.

Congratulations to everyone that showed up for practice and games, worked hard, supported their teammates and had some fun along the way.  To quote Mia Hamm, "True champions aren’t always the ones that win, but those with the most guts."
